If people have genetic testing or just some lab work done, who has the right to that information?

For example should healthcare companies and employers have access to that information?
 
The doctor that ordered the test and the patient. Completely confidential beyond that, no question.
 
Why would your employer need to know any of that information in the first place? As long as you can do your job that should be all that matters.
