Awesome way of thinking :highfive:

Hopefully the real thing will come along eventually.

why do you assume that you can't have your crush? :|

People shouldn't waste their emotions on silly crushes. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment.

Sorry, had to!

This. By the way, it is important to look for a therapist if suffering of trust issues (one of the reasons why relationships fail).

Me, personally, I'd rather wait until the right time comes. This doesn't mean I'll be having trust issues all the time. From the loneliness and excluding I had to overcome in the last year, I learned that the best things might happen if someone is patient.

i don't see it as that...

you can have a crush on someone and not have feelings towards that person or fictional character... :P

I guess I see things from a different perspective. I can think a celebrity is attractive without having a crush on them.

Thinking someone is attractive doesn't always involve infatuation or intense anything. I save those feelings for real people. Got any more definitions for me? Not every thread needs to be a debate. :P

i'm just pointing out having a crush on someone can be non-sexual or have no feelings involved...

having respect for or admiration for someone can be considered a crush...

you can always have feelings towards a fictional character too... :P

I think that falls into the category of... having respect for or admiration for someone

Hook from Once Upon a Time
Dean from Supernatural

I used to have crushes on Spike from Buffy/Angel, Jake from the original Melrose Place.
