Who knows why they really do it. All we know is that it's the wrong thing to do. I've been cheated on many times. I've had girlfriends and an ex wife that screwed around on me. The main answer that I could only get from them or find is that it was for sex. My ex wife gave me the most straight up answer. That she was tired of having sex with me. She found me to be a very boring person and that I wasn't attractive anymore. That she didn't love me anymore and that she wanted a divorce. She even straight up said she was cheating on me. The funny part was, that was the most honest time she was ever honest and truthful from the 11 years we'd been together.
Some people, I think, are just thriller seekers and therefore do it for the thrill. It makes it more exciting doing something like that, knowing they could get caught and trying not to. But there's other reasons as well, so who knows why they do it.
I’ll never understand what drives people to cheat but I guess they just do it for the thrill or maybe there’s just a lack of love or affection so they seek it elsewhere, but what they don’t know is the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
There's plenty of reasons why someone would want to cheat, but only one that allows them to cheat: a lack of integrity.
