I'm curious about this. Each of us puts some important things for later, learn to exam, finishing important project, serious conversation with people etc.

Usually there is something that we fear of. Procrastination makes us more relief than a quick deal with problem. Please share in this thread your procrastination things and reasons why do you do it.

I procrastinate sometimes because I have too many things 'on my plate' at the same time. That's when I have to sit back, take a deep breath and prioritize what needs to be done first. I also have learned to deal with just one thing at a time. I'm the type that has to finish one thing at a time 'on my plate' completely and correctly before moving to the next task.

Immediate gratification.

Procrastination means I get to do something else I want to do as opposed to something I don't want to do. But the thing I'm supposed to do is not going to go away--usually--and it's still there even after I've done the things I want to do. I've just given myself less time to do it. Fortunately, I don't have things like homework to do or tests to study for. I don't bring my work home with me either, so it's really just, "Should I clean the dishes today or wait?"
