Why do you think individuals purchase fast food when they are aware of its detrimental effects on their health?

I used to work offline and only had a limited amount of time for personal errands and eating, so I didn't have time to go to a pleasant, peaceful restaurant for a wonderful lunch. I normally prepare a lunch from home.

For the reason that anything and everything you do will kill you anyway. There are people, like Andy Whitfield, that led very healthy life styles and died anyway. In Andy's case, it was a severe case of cancer. I always maintain that one will die eventually, just depends on when and why. Russel Crowe said it best in Gladiator.
