Well, just now, I found out that one of my beloved guinea pigs is unfortunately dieing...

First we thought we were going to lose the big dog, but now my guinea pig is dieing.

To bring this to a situation analyzation, said guinea pig had adequate access to food and water to say and she showed no signs of illness..

Why must this happen to her? She was the one who loved me the most and the specific one that purred when I pet her.

I feel like I've lost a girlfriend or something like that, but rather something more different.

Specifically, when I thought the dog was going to be euthanized, I kept my depression within, but I was almost about to cry, upon the discovery of my dieing guinea pig.

And all I was doing was my job, changing the guinea pig cages(It's Tuesday and it's trash day.).

Why must this happen to her, why?

I've noticed I've taken death somewhat well, thanks to the desensitization caused by various violent games(and HnK).

Anyways, I'm still depressed and well, I think I'm going to resume watching HnK, but I just wanted to notify all of you.

I gave her a bit of honor, by covering her entire cage with some blankets, so she won't try to fight.

Suddenly, my life is dropping into depression..

Aww, sucks man!

As for the why... well... sad truth: it's better this way. They can't live forever.

You must of loved the guinea pig very much. Unfortunatly it's life and there's nothing we ca do to stop it's course of nature.

The average life expectancy of a guinea pig is 5 to 7 years. Since you don't mention the age of your guinea pig, perhaps it was just time for her to go. The loss of any pet is very difficult emotionally but we all as pet owners must be prepared for the day we have to say goodbye. It's going to be hard but it doesn't last forever. Remembering the good times you shared with her will help you get over this. It's sad but as others have said, it's an act of nature and there is nothing we can do to stop it.
