Justin Bieber's picture may be plastered all over the walls and lunchboxes of millions of teenage girls, but not in a comic book, if the company that manages his merchandising has any say.

A few weeks ago, Bluewater Productions, a Vancouver, Wash., publisher that specializes in biographical comic books, announced it was doing books based on the lives of Lady Gaga and Bieber. When that happened, the legal fur started flying.

Attorney Kenneth Feinswog sent Bluewater President Darren Davis a cease-and-desist letter on behalf of Bravado, the merchandising firm that licenses the images of celebrities like Bieber and Gaga for posters, shoelaces, notebook covers and lunchboxes.

However, Davis has no plans to cease nor does he plan to desist.

Well that would be one comic that only his fans would buy. Unless a serious collector wanted it just to have in his or her collection. Sounds to me like Bluewater should have asked first with this.

Just the fact that this even sort of exists is depressing.

I'm going to go commit suicide.

Oh come on now! It probably won't even last 5 months. No need to get that serious about it!
