We normally have ours open. Although we will close the blinds at points as we live next to a school and the dogs are not always a fan of the children lol.

That must be the worst. So much traffic in the morning and afternoons, you hear the school bells going off all day, etc.

I see my new neighbors across the street whenever they come outside. I like to come out and sit on the front deck. It's a hundred times nicer from where we were.

Actually, we live in an old brick house that is amazingly soundproof. Granted our local school kind of sucks and doesn't have any bells or things for the public to hear.
