Woman charged with assault of police officer

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Saratoga Springs Police Department arrested a Greenfield woman on Tuesday night in connection to a hit-and-run involving a police officer. Theresa Travis, 34, is facing multiple charges.

On June 18, while being pulled over for vehicle and traffic law violations, police reported that Travis fled the traffic stop, resulting in Sergeant Adam Dingmon being dragged by Travis’ car and injured.

That was real smart. Based on her actions with the hit & run combined with assaulting an officer, I'd say that it's almost like she wanted to get arrested.

She looks like shes one of those who scream "I KNOW MY RIGHTS" before crying because she in fact did something wrong.
