Yesterday my girlfriend had to get a dress because she had a wedding to go to today. She tried it on and asked me what I thought, and she told me to be honest with her, and I was honest with her. I told her I really liked the dress and she looks great in it. And I couldn't believe her response. She said, Thanks for lying to me. I told her I wasn't lying, because I wasn't, but she still believes I just said she looked great in the dress because that's what a guy is suppose to say according to her.



My question is..... Why did you ask me if you're just going to accuse me of lying if I don't tell you that you look ugly? Makes no sense.

I'm kind of confused here. She needed a dress for a wedding. Why didn't her mother take her to find a dress? Maybe your girlfriend was angry that her mother didn't go with her to help her pick out the dress and she took it out on you.

I wouldn't have even given the situation a second thought after it was over. Women react like that all the time. Its just their nature.
