Embarrassment.

I always forget how many S's and R's are in it. >.>

I before E except after C. Hehe. Although I still spell conceive as concieve, I maintain it looks right. Apparently it isn't.

Oh - you misspelled 'misspell'

Okay - I'll be honest. I really can't think of a word I always misspell.

Coercion as well. I always get so confused with it. And misspell itself...I have never been clear on how to spell it.

I always misspell 'misspell' Most of the time, I missspel it incorrectly just as a joke. Cause I never can remember.....

I can't think of one off the top of my head, although I do have a spell check tool on Firefox. Very convenient.

I don't misspell words. I have this compulsion to be certain all my words are spelled correctly.

The one that I see all the time, however, is when people say alot. A LOT is TWO WORDS. That one makes me crazed. And I see it as one word far more often than I see it done correctly, as 2 words.

Champion speller from 2nd grade all the way thru high school. Won all the contests, so maybe that's where I get the compulsion from.

The only time you may see a misspelling from me is when I'm in a hurry and too rushed to do a proper proofread and perhaps I missed a keystroke somewhere.

I've been on my school's spelling team (UIL) since early elementary school. I competed in the Scripp's National Spelling Bee (I think that's what it's called) in 4th and 5th grade, but never got to nationals.

Misspelling words isn't my problem. My main problem is mispronouncing the words.

Being 'not American,' the spell check rarely works for colour, honour, flavour, etc.

I have a Canadian spell check installed on FF. So it checks for my correct spelling. An if you spell a word right once, chances are you'll continue to.
