What is the source of it in the US and elsewhere? In the US, some are blaming Biden's environmental stance on the hike. Another answer involves the deflation of the Covid epidemic which is supposed to cause the inflation. Well, we remember that during the Covid height, gasoline in the US was around a $1 average it seemed. :D

I think this is less "2022 will be more normal" and more "if things seem odd now, wait and they will revert to the mean". Of course the latter isn't always true, but it's true very often :)

We're in a big worldwide crisis. Not only due to the pandemic COVID-19 but also because of the politicians.
People are saying that 2022 will be a better year, but even though I don't want to be a pesimism, I don't think it'll be in terms of pandemic and the economic market.

Everyone said the same thing about 2021 lol. I guess we'll just have to wait & see.

The aftermath of this pandemic has greatly affected people around the world, and until now, they are still coping, especially financially.
