Where's the worst place to go on a first date and why?

RE: Worst place

Probably your home cause your parents or siblings might just interrupt when you're about to do something..

RE: Worst place

The whole point of a first date is to get to know the person and see if you 'click' or not. With that in mind, I would say the worst place would be a movie theater. I mean who wants to sit for two hours in the pitch black, freezing your butt off and unable to talk to your date? Not me. :nono:

Freezing your butt off? Are theaters winter temperatures over there?

Some theaters and even restaurants during the Summer, crank up their air conditioners. I was at a restaurant last week and I swear it was so cold my teeth were chattering! :cold:

Re: Worst place

Sounds like a ridiculous waste of electricity to crank it up that much D: coming back to the heat from that must be terrible

It is terrible. Plus with me, once I catch a chill, it takes me forever to warm back up.

RE: Worst place

a greek restaraunt that broiled fish whole was the first date killer for me. she took one look at the plate and the date was over.

Cinema is probably a bad first date if thats all you are doing,

If you are spending the day with the person in question, then cinema isn't so bad as you get to chat before and after and gives you a convo starter, but if they just go and then leave after, bit hard to get to know someone.

Amen! Going to the movies is a terrible idea when you're still trying to figure the other person out. Plus, it's awkward sitting there and not being able to hold their hand or put your arm around them, etc. So yes, movies, along with any other location where you cannot communicate with one another.

Taco Bell beats a strip club, eh?

How about.. their parent's house. That would be an awkward first date. :P
