What would be the worst name you might give a son? A daughter?

What are some really bad baby names you've heard?

:baby:

Bad names I've heard.

Pilot Inspektor.
X Æ A-Xii-don't even know what this is.
Uniqua.
Delicious.
Dynasty(Pronounced Da-nasty)

Elwood
Derwood
Hortense

I knew a kid with the first name spider. I would never call a kid that

it's not a bad name, but I would personally never call a son peter (or pete)
I can't think of any really bad girls names, but I don't really like mary

One of my middle names is Mary, Emily. I also have a nephew Peter and I had a cousin Peter who died at the age of 20.

I don't like the names Wren and Lark or any of these word names such as Blaze that parents seem to favour these days.

My original forename is definitely a no!

I think it's hard to say what makes a name bad, since everyone has different tastes. What one person loves, another might not like at all.

That said, intentionally misspelled names or names that are extremely unique to the point of being unusual can sometimes come across as bad.
It's almost like the parents were picking the name while under the influence or something.

Recently met a pretty nice girl named Arwen.

It's certainly far more memorable than the vast oceans of Julianas, Marias, Cassandras and Florencias I have ever come across, but she looked almost embarrassed when telling me, and I honestly can see why.
