Would you consider yourself a hopeless romantic?

I consider myself hopeless. Romantic is a part of me but never used anymore

I have a romantic streak that shows through in my writing a lot. For instance, I rarely have downer endings other than in horror, where they're kind of mandatory, and my erotica generally tends to be as much about loving relationships as sex. Not sure I would say that I am a hopeless romantic anymore, but maybe when I was younger I was.

I'm not romantic at all. I've had women in past relationships tell me I need to work on my romantic side because of how severely lacking it is.

Maybe?

No. I have absolutely no interest in romance whatsoever.

"Romantic" is about more than "romance" in the relationship sense. It is also about big ideas and strong emotions. Think Beethoven's Ninth Symphony or Liszt and Chopin's piano works. Obviously, relationships generate a lot of romance, but in the actual Romantic period you also had things like ART and LIBERTY (caps intentional) and so on being a big part of what defined "Romance".

.......also......after unpteen years of marriage, my husband still holds doors open for me, before taking off every morning to do whatever his "thing" might be he asks if there's anything I want him to do for me; he thanks me for lunch and dinner (whether it's really any good or not).
Things like that I consider very romantic & I appreciate it. :)

Hell no. I consider myself a paranoid unromantic. It's hard for me to be vulnerable and trust people beyond a certain degree.
