Would you interfere if you saw a fight in public? What if one person was being seriously hurt?

I'm not great at physical confrontations, but I'd try. Especially if it was one sided enough that someone was being hurt.

Maybe if I could stop the aggressor without being beat up myself. If I could sneak up behind him and knock him out with a rock or a brick, I'd try that!

Yes. A few weeks ago there were a bunch of kids watching two teenage boys hit each other at the park in my neighborhood. I was going for a walk with my son and my girlfriend when one of the neighbors ask me if I could go and stop it. I saw them fighting and I walked up to them. I pointed at the old ladies house and told them that she had called the police. It was a lie. Every kid in that park ran away; including the boys who were beating on each other. At least it broke them up.
