Wrecked Car Gone + Pics

Just got rid of the car! The tow truck is driving away right now.

The cash for junk cars place gave me $200 for it.

Now just waiting on the insurance company to give me money. They need to get a copy of the police report from the accident. They contacted the police department in my city and are waiting to get that in the mail. I took pictures of all the damage and will be emailing those to them as well. Most I will be able to get is $3500. I will be happy if they give me at least $1500. Hopefully its better than that though.



Here are some pictures from the accident:

It may not look like it at 1st glance, but there is thousands of dollars worth of damage there. Replacing the axle is going to be $1000+

Putting the air bags back in/replacing them could be another $1000+

Not to mention all the broken parts inside the engine and body work that needs to be done.

The damage exceeds the value of the car so yeah, its totaled. Hopefully that will bring in some

Doubt it will get crushed. Someone buy it and repair it or its parts will be used for other vehicles

I sold it to a place called Pick-n-Pull.

Its a huge yard where thousands of discarded cars sit. People go in there with their own tools and pull whatever parts they need out of the cars. Its a cheap way to get car parts.

I'm sure my car was in better condition than that after I went off the road and through a fence, but oh well, sh!t happens.
