What expression(s) do you constantly hear being used in the wrong context or spoken wrong?

I don't constantly hear English as such, but I tend to read plenty of it so...

Me either, and I/me, could care less, should/could/would of.

Some brainless bimbo on the news this morning was talking about an "awareness event" coming up this weekend, every sentence she said in answer to the reporter contained the word "like".... "like if it's raining", "we have people who like have never..." are a couple I remember offhand.

I thought the "valley girl" thing died before this chick was born.

Oh, well.

It boggles my mind that people don't accept that people make mistakes, like every one else... It also boggles my mind when said people complain and talk down to people that make the mistakes when them themselves have made the same mistakes, such as grammar and spelling...

Sorry, end of rant...

Carry on...

We're not talking about the occasional typo or accidental misstatement here.

At least I didn't think we were.

I thought it was about those who simply do not have enough of a grounding in the English Language to make themselves understood in any communication beyond the routine and mundane.

Whatever else you have going on, Ear, you DO have a fairly good command of the language, and I don't have to reread your posts three or four times to figure out what you're trying to say, current pop culture references being a given exception.

Kudos on that.
