YouPorn passwords, used by members of the internationally popular adult video site, have been released onto the internet.
The breach came after a third-party service's security was apparently hacked, YouPorn said. Users of a chat service linked to the main YouPorn website have had their personal information compromised.
YouPorn is an adult video-sharing website that was originally modelled on Google's YouTube service for consumers. It is among the 100 most popular websites in the world, according to Web information company Alexa, and has increasingly been dominated by professional adult video companies.
Thousands of leaked email address and password combinations purportedly linked to the chat service were circulating online, but their authenticity could not be confirmed by The Associated Press. At least some of the addresses appeared to be bogus or inactive, although such addresses may be the kinds of email addresses users would submit if logging on to the potentially embarassing porn video website.
It remains unclear how many people were potentially affected by the breach.

Given that people put their own videos on there, the email addresses are going to be more embarassing i.e. cover blown.
