Our band is called The Dog Days of Summer.
The term Dog Days was used by the Greeks, as well as the ancient Romans (who called these days caniculares days (days of the dogs)) after Sirius (the Dog Star, in Latin Canicula), the brightest star in the heavens besides the Sun. The dog days of summer are also called canicular days.
Our old Banjo player (Guitarist of The Rotted/Ex-Gorerotted - for those that know theyre Metal music) and his (now) wife (our Mandolin player) thought of the name

My first one was Project Wolf Mirror. A collab with techno and dance artist Kioh Valentine. Been bros for about 8 years and just recently we started making music. My second band, Kwiatkowski, is still in development. Me Erik Kwiatkowski, and Chris Freakout. Pretty much a simon and garfunkel/Plant and Page thing going on. If my music carrer kicks in, one day I want a band called The Angry Lemons.
