What was your first car when you grew up? Did you enjoy driving it? Did it have any problems or constant maintenance needed on it? How did it make you feel when you first had your car? I have a 2003 Chevy Malibu, and I'm very satisfied with it! I enjoy driving it, and I don't really have any problems with it! The only thing I had wrong with it was a blower motor resistor go bad, which was a easy DIY fix.

Well when I was growing up, nobody ever gave me a car. I used my mom's car which was a 1990 Eagle Summit I believe. That was when I was using a learners permit and just barely got my licence.

I did eventually get a car when I became a grown up and got a job. I think that was a Toyota or something. Memories a little fuzzy.

The first car I owned was only 7 years younger than me.

It was a 1968 Ford Falcon 2 door.

It was rusty to where it had major pieces of bodywork fall off of it, it used almost as much oil as it did gas, and would occasionally diesel after you shut it off for several minutes. But it was Mine!

In 1978 I paid $400 for it. And I'm still not sure it was worth that much even back then.

I don't have a car of my own yet. Hopefully the first (new?) car I purchase with my own money will be a Tesla Model III.

My first vehicle was a 1999 Dodge Dakota. While it did have its fair share of problems for an older vehicle, it served its purpose. At the end of the day, the fixes were less than a monthly car payment. I loved that truck. However, it started to have transmission hiccups so I decided it would be best to trade her in and get a new car.

we were driving cars and tractors on our farm by the time we were 8. it was sort of a rite of passage to pull the manure spreader for our first time out on the tractor. when i got my drivers license, my father had a 1968 olds 98 we called 'the boat'. it sucked gas, but gas was only about twenty cents a gallon so a couple of dollars still went a long way.

my first car was a blue 1965 chevy malibu that had a surfer foot for a gas pedal. i paid $250 for it and it ran great. unfortunately, i was working on the south side of chicago, not quite the baddest part of town, but bad enough, and the car was stolen after just a few weeks. it was recovered, but stripped, so it was a total write-off because it wasn't insured for theft.

My first vehicle will be my grandfather's 1985 Chevy Longbed Pickup.
