Describe your house to us... What is the coolest thing about your home/house?

I described my house here. The coolest thing about my house is not the house itself (even though I love it). The coolest thing is the location of my house. No neighbors, other than wildlife, for miles. Peace and total quiet.

The coolest thing about my place is... relatively cheap rent, most everything else about it sucks. :P

My house is on the countryside.
It used to be a horse barn, but it got remodeled into a guest house.
It's quiet for the most part aside from the donkey and other farm animals
that neighbors far out might have.

Since it used to be a barn the house is like a studio apartment setup. . .
BUT WITH A LOT OF ROOM.
I mean, I can do cartwheels and what not around the house.
The kitchen and bathroom are big.
Have a laundry room, back room for storage, a side yard that has a vegetable garden. . .
AND LET'S NOT FORGET THE CHICKENS.
Yaaay free eggs.

Sounds lovely and it must be very relaxing to live there.

It is!
Well last night we had strong winds. . .
and a tree crashed through the fence.
Scared the heck out of me!

The downside about living here is that it's so far out
that my friends and coworkers complain it's too much of a hassle to drive here.

Definitely sounds like the central valley. Its funny how people on the internet think we Californians live in all urban areas with movie stars walking around everywhere. :P

The view of the sea

Wow, I'm jealous. Are you close enough to hear the waves?
