...remember this gem from Obama's 2009 Apology Tour of the Middle East?

Obama's Egyptian?!? I thought all y'all had decreed he was Kenyan?!?

Oh. He's anything that makes him not 'US'. Got it.

Well, then the image-maker (and image-repeater) doesn't understand what he/she is making images about, since the Obamas have attended several Christian churches in the D.C. area.

Even extremely-and-ultra-conservapedia.com, who's thoroughly convince President Obama IS Muslim, acknowledged:

"Obama's wife Michelle does not accompany him to Muslim nations because Sharia law would require her to wear a head covering as the wife of a Muslim man in a Muslim nation; on a presidential trip she was with him until France, but then returned home."

http://www.conservapedia.com/Obama's_Religion

A good Muslim wife (who would belong to a good Muslim man) would NOT disobey her husband and refuse to accompany him; a good Muslim wife would also wear the proper garb at all times, not just when in foreign nations.

So, once again, it appears facts interfere with *good* comedy.

What a sad thing to believe about your fellow man...

...and all of mankind's existence, DrLeft.

Oh. I don't know about "wankers", whether they be in charge of it or simply novices at it.

Why do you keep referring to me as "(your) friend"? Have we met? Do we know one another? I find it difficult to believe that we hang out in the same social circles...and not JUST due to geographical restraints.

I do not believe he is referring to being a Muslim. The dear leader believes in a one world government and considers all countries equal and the same with none better then others. Any good socialist/communist wants us all under one law and control.

Its' a figure of speech, Mrldii...but like a lot of things, it just sailed right over your head, didn't it?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

"My friend" is a figure of speech? No, "its'" not; "its'" an indication that someone knows someone else.

I'm old; I forget things. I'd like to know where you and I know one another from...since we're "friends", and shit.

What are the things that "sail right over (my) head"? When you attempt to make humorous posts? Nahhhhh...obviously, I catch it every time you are

trying.

Proof's continuing to be in the pudding.

One thing Webster even when at one time when we didn't agree on much I enjoyed my back and forth with you because no matter how much we disagreed you always tried to act like you were talking with a friend. It is a rare thing when you simply just want to debate the topic And not get angry with the person in the debate.

"Our Dear Leader" comes across with the same dripping sarcasm and offensive condescension as "my friend" does.

Jus' sayin'.

If you *gentlemen* can't learn to play nice, I could just leave you to play with each other...

...if that's what you'd prefer. :halo:

we are playing nice. It's others that can't seem to keep it on topic and not the poster.

Agreed; someONE is having difficulty "keep(ing) it on topic and not the poster":

Someone should contact the Mod for this forum and let him know someone's making personal attacks upon others within threads IN his forum. Or someone should let me know that a goose/gander policy IS in effect here, so I can begin responding, in kind.

@TRUE LIBERTY

You know, I have never met Webster in "real life", but we have conversed quite a bit on the internet. I have been talking to him even before I came to Off Topix. I think he is just what he appears to be...a good person.

He has referred to me as "my friend" on several occasions, I have never been offended by it. Just the opposite...

I routinely refer to others in the conversation as such, and mean nothing by it other than we are having a conversation.

As to insinuating something untoward about the sexual preferences of those in the conversation, to wit, remarking that 'they'd rather play with each other', that seems to be a rather new development.

And, as to the rest of that comment, if you wish to engage in personal attack, although I may be a bit rusty, and somewhat out of practice, I believe that if challenged, I can still go all... ....

Some people refer to our current POTUS as "Our Dear Leader" and really mean it when doing so, too.

It is pretty obvious by the fact of the exception Webster takes to every single post I make that he does not really find me to be "(his) friend", virtually or in all reality.

:drunk:

Personally, I do not "wish to engage in personal attack"; I DO, however, always REply and REspond to others, in *kind*, as I believe in speaking to others in the language they are most comfortable with.

I am clarifying if I, too, may make personal attacks, such as this one...which for some *odd* reason is not showing up on others' browsers when originally posted (repeatedly) by the OP:

Its' a figure of speech, Mrldii...but like a lot of things, it just sailed right over your head, didn't it?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Others' deliberate and obtuse avoidance of answering my very direct question IS indirectly answering my question, however.
