Do you invest your money? Do you prefer tradition ways of investment or cryptocurrencies? Or even gold and silver for that matter.

I've been invested in crypto for a number of years, however never really put any of my money into tradition investments, crypto is more volitile so it's more interesting 😂🤣 as long as you are playing with "their" money.

Is my house an investment? If so then yeah I have one. I've never explored crypto. Is it profitable?

Houses are definitely investments in one way or another. I'm glad I'm not paying someone else's mortgage that's for sure haha.

It's definitely profitable, but you have to be smart. It's obviously alot more volitile than your traditional stocks so there's a higher chance of random swings either direction but if you get into some new projects at the right time you can make alot of money.

I invested 2k into one coin and came out with $17k after 2 days, took out my initial investment and played with my winnings and built on that.

Just don't use money your not willing to loose. There's been times when coins go from $100 or more dollars and crash down to a pittance of a cent.

There's lots of aspects of crypto too. My friend did a NFT project recently where he was the artist which minted out (sold out) and he came out with $xxx, xxx for a couple of months work.

Wow! I just might have to look into it for myself.

Home prices are going crazy here. My house has went up $100k in value since I bought it 2 years ago.

It's worth looking into. We are currently experiencing a downward trend so buying in now isn't recommended but once it bottoms out and stabalizes it would be a good time to buy and hold until the next run.

It goes in cycles. We just had a big run for the last year or so.

Let me know a good time to buy! Then I’ll dip a toe into the crypto world.

Same, it's a worldwide thing at the moment haha.

I hear we’re about to go into a crash.

Definitely uncertain times, but I doubt it will crash too hard. I'm lucky the state I am in has the lowest median house prices so even though ours has gone up quite a bit, we won't see as much as a dip as other states where they are really pushing the limit.

Time will tell

yup. I think we’ll be fine either way. Uncertain times for renters that’s for sure. rent keeps skyrocketing in my area.

I invest through a diversified allocation to ETFs. I have allocations to US Large Cap Growth, US Large Cap Value, US Small Cap, Emerging Markets, and International Markets. I also have a small allocation towards BTC to maximize diversity and reduce tracking error.

I've got a few shares that were given to me many years ago as a bonus when I worked for a company and that still bring me a few hundred a year in dividends.
