Personally, I don't feel comfortable making use of VPN because all of them have a way of stealing your data and selling them without your knowledge. Some of them can have your connection compromised especially when you make use of free VPNs. They are a complete NO NO for me.

I have to get around content restricted by country on streaming services. Or to get another free trial of something.
For free ones I have used Windscribe, seems okay but I dunno anything about VPNs.

Like to watch american netflix?
They funnel your internet traffic through servers in other countries so websites think you're in (for example) the UK. Trolls use them, but they are also useful for unlocking content from streaming services. Different shows and movies are available on the UK netflix, Australian netflix, etc.

Well if anything specific you want to see isn't available to you, now you know a way to get it unlocked.
