and what age do you think is an acceptable age to tell your kids the truth about santa?

or should kids find out for themselves

I kind of found out myself- I just put two and two together, and by I think aged 10, I was pretty convinced that he didn't exist- even though my mom wouldn't give up and tried to continue the whole santa thing

Let them find out for themselves and let them have a magical fantasy for a while because as soon as you get older the only magical thing you see is a little time to do your own thing lol

but do you still think their should be a limit on the age?

after all: no parent wants their child being bullied at school because they still believe in baby stuff. lol

Santa Clause is harmless. As far as I know, no one has ever gone on a crusade in his name. Christian God and his followers, on the other hand... Now there's a menace no one should be telling their children is real. If you do, you get adults who freely give their hard-earned money to a bunch of overdressed posers and get nothing in return.

I told my kid there was no Santa when she was around 10 I think (around that age not sure on the age exactly). Her mom got all mad at me and told our daughter I was just kidding around about Santa not being real. I knew my daughter already knew there was no Santa, she was just in denial.

I mean I wouldn’t say a limit but kids ain’t stupid they’ll work it out for themselves id say between 10-12 years.

Let kids figure it out for themselves. We've all enjoyed the feeling of leaving cookies and milk out for Santa, then waking up in the morning to them being gone. It'll ruin that Christmas magic if you tell them, especially at an early age. I'm in my 30s and I still watch The Santa Claus movies with Tim Allen. He might not be real, but the thought of it and magic behind it will always be nostalgic and exciting.

And then you have superstitious idiots doing bullshit like this to spread their religious crap. Some Christians are quick to tell kids their imaginary friend isn't real in exchange for an evil one that promotes misogyny, slavery, gender slavery, homophobia, genocide, filicide, infanticide, and torture. They stir the bullshit so thick that some of them can't tell fantasy from reality. Religion really warps people's minds.
