Have you watched any sports live at a sports ground or stadium? How was the experience? Was it better than watching on TV?

I much prefer watching sports in person. Its so much better. You get to feed off the energy of those around you even if you're not a fan of the sport you're watching.

What's so interesting about sports that makes it worth watching, either live or on TV? :confused2:

I guess it just depends what your into, I don’t watch much sports, just the main England football games either Euro or World Cup

Huh. Most of my countrymen are soccer lunatics who go as far as to starting physical altercations with each other and the police officers before, during and after the matches, but to this day, I fail to see the appeal in it, or any other sport whatsoever.

I don't get sports at all, what's so interesting in watching other humans running around, chasing one ball, or whatever.

People are competitive in nature and they want to watch whatever team they are rooting for win. Then they can celebrate, or collect tons of money if they're betting / gambling on the winner.

I understand gambling, making profit, but you don't have to start World War 3 every time your favorite team loses.

Local soccer fans come to each game well armed with bats, torches, explosives and god knows what else. Prior to and after the game, they rampage through the city and demolish everything in their path.

They have no problem attacking police units equal to US SWAT teams with broken bottles and / or bare hands.
