Are you an early adopter? Do you like to have cutting edge technology? Are there any disadvantages to buying the latest product?

Nope. I don't care for having the latest and newest toys available. I use whatever I got for as long as it serves me.

Depends, I like to be the first one to get the latest iPhone (if need a new phone and can wait until September when they come out). Thats really about it.

Not too much. Sometimes I'll want a newer version of stuff, but for stuff like computers and phones usually when I need em or if their a bit old.

Same here, usually upgrading doesn't really make much of a difference anyway (unless what you currently have is VERY old).

No. When it comes to software I'll keep a test environment for bleeding edge software, but never live. Most other things I wait, let the bugs get sorted out and then buy in.

I will often stay away from beta software and brand new products in items that affect the family (mostly our home server) and the business as stability is key for those features. I will often use beta's for more personal items, but I still trend away from them. When it comes to software, I generally stick to older software anymore as the market has way too many come-and-go software suites anymore.

The sole exception may be my new computer. I had to replace the windows 8 to 10 upgrade (curse spit) that was becoming simply unusable.

The new one is a Dell Inspiron 15 with OEM Windows 11.
