Coyotes, cougars, skunks, ground hogs, big-horned sheep, deer, elk, osprey, eagles, various hawks, huge ravens and 'lesser' birds. There must be some I'm failing to mention.

We're both on the west coast so we probably have a lot of the same animals around. I've seen all those in California, plus some bears, wolves, foxes, possums.Coyotes, cougars, skunks, ground hogs, big-horned sheep, deer, elk, osprey, eagles, various hawks, huge ravens and 'lesser' birds. Thats everywhere on earth. Cats are taking over the world!Cats. They seem to be everywhere you look.
Oh yeah, I forgot bears..not right here in the immediate area, but more in the mountains & heavy woods. I don't think there are possums, wolves, or foxes right around here. Oh yeah, we probably both have rattlesnakes.

Yes!! I remember when my daughter was little, her and her little cousins were all standing around something at a party (relatives house in the country). I go up to see what they're looking at and it was a rattlesnake! Told them all to get away and I killed it with a shovel. So cute!! When I was a kid visiting grandparents in Alabama & Mississippi the red squirrels, grey squirrels & flying squirrels were all over the piney woods.

Very scary indeed. My adrenaline was pumping when that was going on. Glad everyone was okay.
I've seen squirrels down here. There's this one park in my town that has tons of them. I remember eating lunch there one time and they were begging for food, taking pieces of the bun out of my hand.Squirrels or chipmunks are not seen around here.
They are cute but can be diseased, probably shouldn't have fed them at the park that one time.
