I’ve never owned a Chromebook but they seem amazing for work related stuff
My advice is whatever you can afford with your budget I would get, if it’s not a personal question what work do you do?

For writing any Chromebook is great and probably slightly better then windows

For writing and typing stuff out I say go for it!That's what I have heard as well!
I wouldn't recommend it, even though it is good for general web browsing and typing, it's still a limited machine. Any certain programs you plan on using for it?
