I’m not sure about the rest of the world but here I Australia we have 2 types of Kebabs A Doner or Stick so which one do you people prefer :D
 
I had to search what a doner kebab is lol Not that popular over here. However, I also don't eat kebabs & if I do, it's mainly veggies. But for this I voted Meat on a stick. I'm curious if others in the USA have heard of a doner.

It has many names so it’s very confusing, each state in Australia has a different name for it.

Here in Queensland it’s a Doner Kebab then you go to South Australia where they call it A Yiro so I can imagine the rest of the world ??
 
We don't really use any of those terms in "traditional" American circles. We'd call kebabs "skewers". A skewer is the actual implement that pierces the meat, but we generally call the finished product a "something" skewer. For example, "I'll order the seafood skewer". However, the word kebab has slowly entered the general lexicon.
