Are you interested in interior design? How important is the style or appearance of the inside of a home?

I like minimalism, nothing over the top, just simple things in simple places.

Same here!

Didn't used to be like that. When @tonychu first met me my place looked like a thrift store. So much knick knacks and business all over the place. Not anymore!
Yeah, I was a lot like that, too. It became too much, the clutter, the trinkets, so needless. I got rid of most of it, kept what was important to me and it's been fantastic ever since.

Same here. I did a massive purge and didn't miss a thing.

Amazing how much you can actually do without, isn't it? A nice, simplistic, minimalist home is incredible! I still have my game collection, but I keep it organized.
Its more comfortable, thats for sure!

Important to who? The owners themselves or to the guests they're trying to impress?

Ah, so that's where Francisco Scaramanga got his servant from. :whistles:

So did Sidious and Vader, but still managed to miss a few Jedi. :p

I’d say the owners themselves since they’re ones that have to live there and look at it every day.

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but my motto is 'the less clutter - the better', but I always try to find a balance between aesthetics and practicality. Unlike some people who like to clutter their places up with more or less useless junk, I prefer to keep my surroundings clean and logically organized. Always liked it that way.

Of course, there are also those whose primary goal is to impress the relatives and other visitors, so they design and organize their places to elicit a 'wow' reaction. Not my cup of tea.
