It's a FMV (full-motion video) game, basically an interactive movie. The story stops at several points and waits for your input, your decision on how to proceed, what to do next.

This one is from 1996, so it might be a tad difficult to get it to run on modern systems. It's designed to run on Windows 95 with 16 bit color depth. I had to modify a Windows 98 virtual machine to get it to run. Worst of all, it runs in 640 x 480 pixels resolution.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense, the older games are pretty difficult to get up and running. I have a couple of older Windows VMs running, hopefully I can get it to work with one them!

Wow, it really does blend well! TNG, DS9 and the game all meshed really well! Amazing job by the writing team!

The main objective of the game is to change history, to prevent destruction of the ship you're on. Q acts as your guide and snaps you back if you make the wrong choice, mocking and taunting you the whole time.

Typical Q, of course. Sounds like a really good game, actually. I've never been an FMV fan, most of them are corny, but that sounds like it's really well done!
