How often do you get a medical check-up? How often should people get a check-up?

3-6 months ever since the issues that happened in 2013 and then later diabetes in 2019.

I'm rotating between 8 different doctors at present and a physical therapist, so I get pretty regular checkups :)

Almost 5 months ago when I needed to get on a CPAP and had to get a doctor's referral to get a study done. My check up came back positive. It hasn't caused any major health issues yet.

Oh noes..... :hugs:

Got one scheduled for early December; basically its' a sit-down with my primary-care doctor (a/k/a GP) and check on some health issues, get a couple prescription refills and get some blood drawn for blood work.

Yeah, fun times indeed....

The things we do to keep moving forward, eh? I get blood drawn every three months for my endocrinologist and every three months for my hormone levels (gotta' make sure we're killing that nasty testosterone!), but as is typical for me, the two are out of sync, so I get blood drawn every month and a half right now, lol.

Given where I was a year or so ago, I'll take the numerous trips to therapy, doctors' offices, etc., etc.

Did your lead work out?
Yes and no. Managed to get insulin (phew), but the actual endocrinologist side of things is proving difficult. Got a video appointment with my GP/pcp to talk things over and he might give me bridge prescriptions in the meantime, but endo's are booking into mid 2023 already!

Glad you got your insulin. Hope the other stuff works out!
