Do you enjoy Christmas movies?

What's your favorite Christmas themed movie?

Polar Express, great film :). A Christmas Story, Jingle All the Way, The Santa Claus...all fun films!

Yes I do.

The Muppets Christmas Carol
Scrooged
Santa's Slay
Gremlins

Die Hard is a great Christmas movie! That amazing Hans Gruber accent, lol
Saw that in the theater last Christmas. We have a theater in our town that plays classic movies. I'll bet its playing again in December *goes to check*
Saw Home Alone last December there too.

Yeah its pretty cool. A lot of cities around here have a place like that. They usually have a stage and once in a while they'll do a concert, play or stand up comedy show too.

Indeed, always a cheap show too. The movies are $5 usually.
I love it! We had a cheap theatre here until Covid, but they showed movies that had just left the mainstream theatres/cinemas, sort of a "last chance" theatre. It made for a nice night out, because it was cheap, even the concessions, but I wish they'd played older movies, too!

Oh yeah there was a place like that when I was a kid. They had movies that had just left the movie theater like 4 to 6 months ago. Back then it was like a year before movies were on VHS so they could still live on in those cheap theaters for a couple months.

Yep, that's exactly what it was here, except it became more and more of an outdated concept, sadly, because of DVD releases speeding up and streaming services making them irrelevant. I still loved it until it closed, though. Drive-ins, too, I really miss the drive-in. Still have one here, but it's so neglected.

I used to go to drive in's all the time. With the pandemic, movies are streaming on TV and in the theaters simultaneously. Its crazy, but I like it. People still go to the theaters because its a better movie watching experience.

Oh it absolutely is! It's just too expensive, though. The setup you have is incredible, but if you're just going to buy a ticket and get some popcorn (because you have to, there is no better taste than movie theatre popcorn), you're out a huge chunk of money, even during matinee times!

I had some movie theater popcorn the other day. Good stuff.
