Do you prefer digital photography or film photography?

What are the pros and cons of each?

I think the backlighting on digital pictures is just wonderful; makes the images brighter, sharper and more clear.
You can take a dozen pics of something & keep only one...no problem ditching the ones you don't like....unlike the expense & waiting of taking the film to be developed; and being careful not to 'waste' shots.
Even scanned tiny old pictures can be made bigger and are still pretty clear.
Love the digital photography!

I am pretty impressed that we were able to even come up with photography in the olden days when there was hardly any other technological advancements going on at the time. However film had its time to shine, its digital's turn. :P

 That is a lot of money!

Yes it is! I’ve come to enjoy the process of digital where I have to wait long enough to get home and develop them myself. Where my wife wants me to give her the photo right away and why she uses horrible cell phones. I no longer have the patience for film but I can understand this younger generation enjoying a simpler process away from technology.
