I like mine fried, mashed, and pretty much any way. I however don't like or care for potato salad though. You can do so many things with potatoes, and it's amazing. I have had them fried mainly all throughout my life thanks to my father.

So, how do you guys like your potatoes?

I love roast potatoes!
And also....

Potatoes are so versatile. I do like a baked potato or roast potatoes. Mashed potatoes are hit and miss for me... if they're lumpy then it's a big no! 🤮
I also peel and chop potatoes to make fries.

'Any which way....even loose'

But I scrub and eat the peel as well; and baked sweet potatoes! I scrub it & rub it with butter & wrap it in foil; 300° for 1 hour in the toaster-oven.

I like my taters any way. Doesn't matter. I'll eat them regardless of how they're made.

I used to know a guy who grew up as a young man during the Great Depression; he said he "rode the rails" from somewhere down South to Washington State. Took a job for a couple of years as 'hired help' with a potato farmer & his pay was room & board. The room was the loft of the barn; the 'board' (food) was only all of the potatoes he could eat.
He told me that he swore to himself that if he ever got into a better situation he would never eat another potato in his life.
Times were better for him when I knew him, he said that he stuck to it....he never would eat another potato.

Well if I ate that many potatoes I'd probably get sick of them too. Fortunately I rarely have them so I enjoy them. :P
