Have you ever reported a bad restaurant?

NO!

I had some really crappy-tasting food one time at a Jack-n-the-Box; made me really, really sick or so I thought. Turns out my 'really sick' problem had nothing to do with the food; it was an intestinal blockage.

I have only ever reviewed one restaurant, and that was my local mcdonalds- and of course, 5 star reviews!

I've reported other bad services though- namely mental health services, retail stores, and a library

Nope, I just don't go back

Yes, but not in the way you think... I got tired of constantly getting diet coke when I asked for rootbeer so I wrote to mcdonalds corporate. I discovered recently that after that they installed an automated soda machine which is why they stopped making that mistake. it fills the soda based on the order meaning for it to happen it'd have to be entered wrong from the get go.

Nope. Me and @tonychu just ate at a crap restaurant on Friday. It was a chinese restaurant.

When we walked in there was a guy at the front counter who wouldn't even look up from his phone when we were standing there staring at him. That was the first red flag. Finally a lady comes from the back and seats us. We sit down and order our food. The plate I ordered came with fried rice and I asked if he could do half fried rice / half chow mein instead of JUST fried rice. Seems like that question made him short circuit because he didn't know how to handle that request. He said he wouldn't know how to put that into the computer and they'd probably end up charging me for an extra plate. So I said "just fried rice is fine then." Not an unreasonable request because I order half chow mein / half fried rice at every other chinese restaurant and they do it no problem.

Anyway the food comes and everything is cold and OLD. Not fresh at all.

I paid for our meal without complaining, I won't write a bad review online, I wont report them to the city.... What I will do is never go back there again, which will be easy to do because this place is a couple cities over. We have amazing chinese food in our own city so screw them.

That's how you do it! Vote with your feet.

Indeed. I still ate my food because I was hungry, but I wasn't satisfied. We were all excited to go there. We were in that town doing something else and wanted to find a new place to eat afterwards. Googled places around there. Saw this chinese restaurant, read the reviews (which were good), saw pics of the inside and the decor / atmosphere looked cool. So we go there and it was a big disappointment. Oh well.

Yep, nothing wrong with trying something new, just sucks when it doesn't work out, but ah well, you tried and don't have to go back.

Excellent proof there, thanks for sharing. :p
And I once swore at the local kfc owner via email because he wouldn't give me a refund or a free meal because the chicken I got was burnt. He told me he would never email again.

You got Karen'd by a manager, I love it :D
Off-topic but I got some computer work done and I refused to pay the guy because he didn't do a good job and I'm so not joking but he called me and began crying on the phone. >.<
