Cliques on Forums

How do you combat cliques on forums?

Either join if you feel you want/need to or don't.
Seems like this happens often, not sure I have the need to combat it.

Be yourself, stay true to who you are and let their nonsense do as it will. The forums are about enjoyment, irrespective of what a clique might think.

Aren't cliques normal in any group, real or on-line? I have favorite people on-line, and favorite people in person? Any group of people bigger than about 20 will split into like minded sub-groups, who feel more intimate/comfortable than the larger one?

Yes, this is what people argue with me when I pointed out cliques in RP circles.

I don't think they are necessarily a bad thing, unless the clique is completely ignoring everything you say. Then thats pretty rude.
