Why are some people creative and others are not?

One theory is the ones who are not creative are scared of admitting their feelings and don’t give them the due importance. They think emotional responses make them weak.

People who accept their emotions and vulnerability and harness it create art: a product of imagination and senses.

I think either you're born creative or your not. If there is a way to unlock that part of our brain, we would have figured it out by now.

I think it stems from childhood. If you're allowed to express your creativity with no negative responses, there's a chance you'll continue to work on your projects and you'll continue to grow and get better at being creative.

You think being creative is something you can get better at?

I do feel like being promoted to express your creativity from a young age is a big part of this, but I personally also feel like we judge creativity poorly and it is much more common than one might believe. Generally people tend to look towards the arts as the focus point on creativity, but will look at their look mechanical friend who hates the arts but used 4 tools snapped together to remove a bolt as non-creative.

Overall I find that most people will surprise you in how creative they are at achieving the goals with THEIR passions once you dig into the subject.
