I think after a certain generation, it will be pretty accepted to play them no matter how old you are. It's just another form of entertainment, nobody says that grandpa is 'too old' to watch movies or anything like that. Pretty sure video games are just a super big part of the culture now.

I don't believe you can ever be too old to play games. With recent trends we are seeing gaming becoming much more accessible too. This applies both to an increase of accessibility options within games and a wider variety of platforms on which to play them. There have also been groups which have promoted the use of particular types of videogames to help fight off mental degradation challenges that can come with aging.

I don't believe there is such a thing. I've been playing video games off and on since I was 5 years old. I have met elderly people that play.

I guess the oldest person I know who plays them is my older brother.

I'm sure I will be playing them into my old age, or at least I hope to. They're very good for hand eye coordination and many other things.
