During Sunday’s Xbox Showcase, Microsoft made one hardware reveal: a brand new Xbox is coming out this summer.

This isn’t a brand new console generation or even a power boost to this generation’s hardware. Rather than an Xbox Series X Pro, what you’re looking at in the above image is a new Xbox Series S model.

The new Carbon Black Xbox Series S is just like the old one with two big changes. First—and obviously—is the new color. The more important tweak is the inclusion of a 1TB hard drive. That’s double what you get in a current Series S.

That will cost you about fifty bucks. The Carbon Black 1TB Xbox Series S will retail at $349 instead of $299, but for twice the storage space that’s not a bad deal at all. Too bad this wasn’t the option at launch before we all got a system! This is a much more appealing option.

I like the white Series S, but I have to say this carbon black looks very sleek. That plus the expanded storage make this a very good choice for anyone still in the market for a next-gen system.

Cool but I already have a series X so that's going to stay right there.

They just need to go ahead and BRING BACK THE ABILITY TO USE YOUR OWN MUSIC IN GAMES..
That would be awesome, sometimes I just turn on my bluetooth speaker and have music playing while I am playing a game on the tv.

While it looks nice, I can't really say that I want one over the Series X I bought last year. I would if it was an upgrade to what I already have, but sadly it is not.
