One thing (amongst thousands) that scares me is that there seems to be shortages of prescription drugs lately. (may be a US issue only?)
It seems a bit late in the COVID cycle to be blaming supply chain issues.
I fear big pharma is upset about US Medicaid negotiating prices, and has decided to hold the public/voters hostage until they can get politicians more "sympathetic to their woes".
Thoughts?

Seems like a very reasonable speculation.
