I am science oriented, and have a grounding in reality (I think?), so sometimes a movie just stops being fun when something completely unrealistic happens. I'm okay with a lot of things, like outrunning explosions doesn't bother me much. But six squeaky clean enemy vehicles show up in the middle of muddy nowhere just at the exact moment the hero passes by?
I don't know why sometimes I can roll with it but other times it ruins the movie for me.

Which movies are you referring to?

Pretty much every action movie ever lol. James Bond skiing and there's a bunch of enemies with skis and guns (expert skiiers trained etc (ok obv not as expert as JB)) hanging out ready to ambush him. If he had gone down the non-expert trail, was there another group waiting for him there?

lol I never did get into James Bond. I'm really picky when it comes to what I watch. I think there's a lot of bad acting and screen writing with a lot of shows and movies these days.

I don't find this unique to James Bond movies, it's just an easy example. Watching crime dramas where nobody gets stuck in traffic, after I have been commuting from work through jams, is another nit.

…just in a little side note with movies…when someone makes a date and says…I’ll pick you up tonight etc for dinner…?…they often don’t give a time but even more bizarre and awkward is that they often don’t ask where that person lives…

…yet somehow they turn up at the right address and when the person is ready for their date, so perfectly times…?….eh…?…how is that possible…
