I was round my friend Chris's house
Her mother, mandy, had a Christmas gift for me which she wanted me to open before her holiday in cyprus. This woman never labeled things properly, and she gave me what she thought was my gift- but when I opened it it was just tins of cat food
I said to her really?. But I don't own a cat. She said (trying to hide her mistake), oh, um.. Santa must have made a mistake- and then she had to open all the gifts to find mine because none of them had a label on
That meant Chris got his gifts early too

It would have been better if she were not trying to hide the mistake and just said to you, I got you the cat food, now you get a cat.
