Sleeping with the TV on?

Do you guys sleep with your TV on or off? What do you normally have on if you do?

I can't have any lights on while I am asleep or my insomnia will start.

I used to be able to sleep with the TV on but as I got older I found it more and more difficult to be able to fall asleep and get into a deep sleep if I had something like the TV going that gave some light in the room. Now I sleep with the TV off so that I am able to get a good night's sleep.

I don't tend to have the TV on near me when I'm in 'bed' (my room is storage right now and I sleep in the recliner in the living room. Long story.)... But sometimes I fall asleep watching television with my dad. Not often though. My dad always sleeps with the TV on though. He calls Dorohedoro his "sleepy time show" and he puts it on whenever he takes a nap or goes to bed. xD

No TV set in my bedroom, only set is in the lounge, and yep do fall asleep in front of it sometimes often depends what's on, and if I can find the remote to change channels.

This is rare with me. I don't watch a lot of movies as I prefer doing other things such as surfing the internet. This is one area that I am good at and sleeping off while watching the TV rarely happen to me.

yeah, it is harder for me to sleep with the lights on but have done so before!

As it is one of our charges has a light and my fan has a small blue light!
