You have your high school body, shape, etc. The kicker is you have to deal with all the health/medical issues you have gotten since you graduated high school, or got your GED. If you had health issues during high school, they'd still be there on top of whatever issues happened post HS. You would have all the history, knowledge, etc you have gained post HS. What would be different and change for you?

For me? I think a lot of the problems would be related to bathroom usage more than anything. I'd have to be more careful eating and hope I don't have to go badly afterwards.

I thought of this thread after seeing posts on my high school social media and how much cooler/better it is nowadays versus when I was there. ALWAYS happens, even at places I have worked for/at.

If you never attended high school and/or dropped out, then I dunno haha.

I mean, I'm pretty healthy. I'd take this deal. That highschool body and shape? Damn... I got a beer belly now. I use to have a six pack xD

Now, by waking up and seeing we are back in highschool, does that mean we also go back in time? Or highschool in it's present day?

I don't think I'd survive high school today honestly. There would be way to many eyerolls.

So um... I was expelled from high school when I was there because of my health problems keeping me out of classes too often as is. So... Iunno. Probably just be expelled again. xD

Going back in time with the maturity of a 37 year old man, I would make different choices and avoid those toxic friends that screwed me over in my original timeline. I wouldn't be so rebellious with my parents and my teachers. I would definitely seek to do better in school. But I can't say that I would have gone to college. There are still a lot of things from my teen years that I don't regret having done differently.

Well...I was a substitute teacher for 5 years at my high school when I was in my 40s. That was quite the experience!

Here's what I learned:

Freshman boys love older women.

I didn't care what anyone thought of me or how I looked

It made me realize that I'm short

Man, that would suck. I have stage 4 Endo and before the 3 surgeries also adeno and fibroids, Endo on the sigmoid colon and ureter involved. Finally was able to get everything excavated in this last surgery, but there's remnants of ovarian tissue (or Endo, or both) that continues to produce estrogen. Still in pain. Still having issues. I'd miss so much school due to pain, ED visits, recovery from surgeries.

That sounds awful! I had a fibroid that was on my ureters and it was constant pressure and back pain, but that's all over now that I had surgery. I hope you don't have to have too much other treatment to fight the pain.

We'll see, I guess!

I'm thankful for the education that I received in hi-school; however that could have been much, much better and saved me from lots of future stress, heartache, aches & pain had it not been for my teen-age, fun-loving & goof-off attitude & just general stupidity.

The question brings to mind this old song:
