2.2.13*Last one you can download is 2.2.14.
I like that they have a built in dark theme now, at least. Other than that it looks pretty much the same.2.3 is currently in alpha testing they call it iirc. The Support forums are using it, but it's months away from release
I will give my opinion as individual, please don't see as company opinion.
Xenforo is a great forum, many of Staff of Xenforo was come from vBulletin, for me vBulletin was the best CMS ever made, who had or who was joined forums with vBulletin was noticed that vBulletin in the past was great SEO Optimization, unfortunately vBulletin was stopped in the time, they still working and active.
But lack of features, updates and new versions made it very bad, some employeers of vBulletin was to Xenforo which made Xenforo popular was that, they look what vBulletin lacks and they did it.
vBulletin installation in the past (i don't know if they fixed or have improved) but installation is a painful and uses a lot of RAM and CPU which can be an issue for those who want to start a forum board.
Not the ideal solution, Xenforo was bring new things and is being actively working and having nice features.
Xenforo 2.3 in my opinion is much better and somethings are really improved. Now they should focus in Security, because when something is very actively used world-wide this can become a threat for vulnerabilities and explore any exploit this might have or not.
EDIT: After writing this little text, I was curious and I checked vBulletin and they launched finally, but finally vBulletin 6! I don't know if still heavy like the old, but if they did something improve might be good to test also. (So this text might be only for vBulletin 5 instead of vBulletin 6 unless they didn't fixed anything)
This is only my opinion about Xenforo, we hope they focus more in Security and fixing bugs, exploits that is what they should be focusing more.

It’s going to be a nice when they release it. I can’t wait.2.3 is currently in alpha testing they call it iirc. The Support forums are using it, but it's months away from release. Last one you can download is 2.2.14.
Yep, lots of neat new features to play with! It’s going to be a nice when they release it. I can’t wait.
Trending content is one of the new features so far and passwordless logins with passkeys. You’re right though, I haven’t seen any design changes. They have a beta version out now and I made a test board, looks/feels exactly the same.

3.0 Coming Soon™I want MOAR!![]()
3.0 Coming Soon™
I mean, 2030 is soon
Even 3.0 isn't a groundbreaking update. Developers have already said that add ons, themes, etc. won't see much breaking from 2.2 to 2.3 or to 3.0.3.0 Coming Soon™
True, it's not really a major version update, but enough so that they're pushing it as one.Even 3.0 isn't a groundbreaking update. Developers have already said that add ons, themes, etc. won't see much breaking from 2.2 to 2.3 or to 3.0.
