Information How to Post Movie, TV Database Entry

Hey all,

We just added a new way to talk about TV and Movies to the Movie, TV and Videos forum! Here's a quick tutorial on how to use it!

First, start a new thread like always:

Select either Movie or TV from the two new tabs:

Instead of entering a title or post content go to the bottom and find the link:

Click that link and load The Movie Database. If you're going to post a movie, search for that movie name, if you're going to post a TV series, search for that series name!

Take the URL from the series or movie and paste it into the new field shown below:

That's it, just press the post button and you're done!!

It'll pull everything and end up looking just like this:

That's it, nice and simple!

Thanks for posting this how-to, @PGen98. I've used this app in the past on many sites. It's fun to use and makes for good conversation.
Please be patient when posting. The app pulls a lot of information in at once, but only takes a few seconds.

That's one point I did forget to mention, it does take a minute once it starts to pull data, but it's a pretty quick process overall :)
 
Would be better to have it so it forces comments to the second post rather then the OP's comments being lost in the TMDB layout in the first post.
 
Awwwwww yes I've been asking for this, now it'll be easier to post movie and tv stuff.
 
Also I saw there was one for gaming as well, I dont know if it's easier to add it like the movie/tv one though.
