Ever undergone surgery

Have you ever undergone surgery before?

If so, what was it for, and what do you remember about it?

It was too recent lol I had a tooth removed. They broke it up in my mouth. I was awake but was on novacaine. I could hear it all.

I thought that I would never need to have surgery, even at my young age. Been to the hospital so many times with other people and as a visitor. But three years ago I had to deal with a long six hours surgery and a night over. At the hospital at 9am, around 2pm for the surgery to get started then remember waking up around 7pm and then spent another 24 hours in the hospital.

If you wounding what it is, it's Cholesteatoma. To this day I have to do checkups each six months

I had surgery when I was 5. They removed my tonsils. The only thing I remember is wanting a popsicle after surgery.

Yeah, I've had dentists and surgeons remove teeth out of my mouth when I was a kid, all the way into my mid 20's. When I was 15, I had plantar warts on the bottoms of my feet and it was painful to walk. They cut out 13 plantar warts and some of those areas they couldn't numb. It was really painful to do without them numbing it, but I told them to do it anyway because I just wanted rid of them and knew I'd feel 100% better afterwards. Which is right, I did.

That sounds bloody awful! I understand why we need them but I hate going to the dentist because I'm scared of what they will need to do lmao.

I have a wisdom tooth that still hasn't "appeared" (not sure what the exact word is) so it hasn't been causing many problems. Hopefully that doesn't cause too many problems because I would hate to have that extracted ?

I had wisdom teeth removal, about the only thing I had done and hope that is all I have to endure.

I haven't undergone any major surgery till now but just teeth removal. Hope i don't go to hospital for any major surgery.

Come on people, not to be funny here but you all say the same thing, teeth I have not had anything to deal with with my teeth.

The only surgery I've ever had was when I had my wisdom teeth removed.
